My name is Mercy, and I am a Kenyan applicant who is very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair in the United States. I see the au pair program as a meaningful cultural exchange where I can support a family while also learning about American culture and daily life.

I am a responsible, calm, and caring person who values kindness, respect, and clear communication. I enjoy spending time with children and supporting them in their daily routines, whether that involves helping with meals, playtime, homework, or maintaining a safe and organized environment. I understand how important trust and reliability are when welcoming someone into your home, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

I am organized and adaptable, and I do well in structured environments. I am comfortable following household rules, respecting family values, and communicating openly if something needs clarification. I also enjoy helping with light household tasks related to the children and making sure routines run smoothly.

Outside of childcare, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, hiking, and learning new skills. I am generally calm, patient, and emotionally mature, and I handle challenges with a positive attitude. I value honesty and mutual respect and believe these are the foundation of a successful au pair–host family relationship.
