My name is Daphne, I’m a 21-year-old from Kenya, currently living with my mother in Namibia. I’m excited to apply as an au pair in Denmark because I have a strong love for children, a natural sense of responsibility, and a deep interest in Danish culture.

Although I am an only child, I have hands-on experience caring for children—especially my younger cousins, whom I’ve helped care for since birth. This experience has taught me patience, creativity, and how to adapt to the needs of children at different ages. I truly enjoy being part of a child’s growth and day-to-day joy.

I visited Denmark for one month and was impressed by the country’s peaceful lifestyle, organization, and culture. I would love the opportunity to return—not just as a visitor, but as part of a family—while learning the Danish language and immersing myself in the local way of life.

I recently completed my Diploma in Health and Wellness, and I naturally enjoy childcare, helping in the home, and maintaining a clean, supportive environment. I am fluent in English (Kenya’s official language) and Swahili (our national language), and I hold a valid driver’s license.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, photography, and dancing. I am enthusiastic, respectful, and open-minded, and I look forward to creating a positive connection with a kind host family.

I am available to begin my au pair stay in December 2025 and I am happy to stay for the full 24 months.
