Dear host family,
My name is Christine, and I am originally from Nairobi, Kenya. I am 23 years old and currently living with my family. English is my first language, and I also speak Swahili and a bit of French. Recently, I have been learning German every day on Duolingo because I am excited about the idea of experiencing life in Europe.
I have always loved caring for children, and over the years I have gained experience with kids aged 1–12. I enjoy playing outdoors, reading stories, drawing, cooking simple meals, and creating a warm, safe environment for children to grow and express themselves.
I am at a stage in my life where I want to explore more of the world and discover new cultures. Becoming an Au Pair feels like the perfect opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, learn a new language, and live with a family that I can support and connect with. I love the idea of being part of a household, helping with routines, and becoming someone your child feels comfortable with.
