Introduction
_I enjoy cooking healthy meals like chapati with beans, fruit salads, rice with vegetables , baking cakes or cookies and I’d love to learn Dutch recipes with your kids. I organize fun outdoor games, bike rides, and soccer because fresh air makes homework easier after. I’m great with English, reading novels, art and crafts since it's my passion and talent it helps with creativity, and can turn spelling into a game . I handle school runs, kids’ laundry, and bedtime stories without stress. Safety is always first – I check and ensure that the child's sorrriunding environment is safe in order to avoid danger and i stay calm in emergencies._
_I’m patient, responsible, and believe kids learn best through play, stories, and laughter. I’m active and athletic, so I can keep up with energetic children at the park. I don’t just keep an eye on kids – I join them. If your child loves dinosaurs, I’ll be a T-Rex for an hour. If they’re shy, I’ll draw quietly until they’re ready._
I grew up helping raise my siblings and cousins ages 2-12, with 400 plus hours of childcare. I changed diapers, did school drop-offs, calmed tantrums, represented them in school meetings as a guardian and taught my 6-year-old cousin to ride a bike. That’s where I discovered how much joy children bring me. I’m excited to share Kenyan culture and Swahili words while learning Dutch traditions. My dream is to study engineering after my au pair year,so I'll use free days for Dutch class to prepare for university. I want to be your childrens' big sister from Kenya.
