Hello my future host family and host kids!
My name is Moldir, I am 23 years old. I am from Kazakhstan and I have a bachelor's degree in foreign languages.
I am currently in New Jersey (Verona city) I did a wrong match but I am sure that everyone deserves a second chance and I want to get this experience of workings with kids and be a part of American family.
I really love children, I like to dance with them, play with them, teach them something new, draw pictures and spend time together. I have a lot of experience with children and they were different: from 9 months to 13 years old.
My experience of working with children began in 2018 when I was doing an internship at a language school. I was a teacher`s assistant. We had a group of 5 kids aged 6-7. My tasks included to pick children up from school, helped them with their homework, counting numbers, learn new words, poems and songs. I taught them how to read and how to write. With children, I also learned a lot of new things. This internship lasted 4 happy months and we successfully completed their 1st school year.
In 2020, I had a part-time job and I was looking after a 9 month old baby. This sweet girl`s name was Adelya. I sat with a baby for 4-5 hours a day, 5 times a week. She was very active, despite this, we played together, she loved to listen to classical music and Kazakh songs, and we liked to play “Ladushki” - clapping hands together. Her mother prepared the baby formula in advance, but to warm up the porridge or cook the porridge was my duty. I also know how to change the diapers and put baby to the bed.
Recently, I started working in a developmental center teaching children English in a playful way. We had fun lessons! The center has more than 50 children, I had groups of different ages, mostly from 3 years old to 10 years old. In addition to teaching English to children, there were children who stayed at the center for the whole day. I picked up the children from school, fed them 2 times a day. We spent our days playing, doing homework, singing and learning together. It was a great experience! I learned to find a common language with everyone. I was happy with the kids, kids were happy with me.
What is more, I am responsible, kind, positive and friendly person. I can teach your children how to dance, cook, draw and many other things. Your kids will never be bored with me! I will become the best friend and sister for my future host kids and a good helper for you & your family.
