My name is Ashante and I’m truly excited about the possibility of becoming part of your family as an Au Pair. I’m from Jamaica and would need visa sponsorship. I have a genuine passion for caring for children and helping families. Along with office experience, I have plenty of hands-on childcare experience.
Growing up, I helped take care of my younger brother, which taught me responsibility and patience from a young age. I have also babysat my baby cousins and have paid experience in babysitting for families during weekends, holidays, and workdays. Through these experiences, I learned how to engage children of different ages with fun activities, help with homework, prepare simple meals and provide a safe and nurturing environment. I especially enjoy storytelling, creative play, and encouraging kids to learn.
I’m warm, friendly and very reliable. I understand how important it is for parents to trust someone with their children and I am committed to being responsible and respectful at all times. I am also flexible, open-minded and always willing to help with light housework or pet care if needed. I believe communication is key to a happy household, so I’ll keep you updated regularly and make sure we’re always on the same page.
I speak English fluently and am eager to embrace Canadian culture and learn more about your family’s traditions. I’m also willing to share Jamaican culture and cuisine if you’re interested.
I am available to start from as soon as possible, and I can commit to staying with your family for 1 year. I am fully committed to making this a rewarding and meaningful experience for everyone.
