My name is Lucia, I am 25 years old, and I am from Italy. I am currently living in Milan, where I am completing my studies in Aerospace Engineering. I come from a close-knit family of four—my parents, my younger brother, and me—along with our adorable chubby cat.

I am fluent in both English and French, and I hold C1 certifications in both languages. I have also developed a strong international outlook thanks to my education at the International School of Genoa and the French Baccalauréat diploma I obtained.

I have always loved spending time with children, and becoming an au pair feels like the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for childcare with my interest in cultural exchange. I would love to become part of a host family’s daily life, support the children in their routine and development, and at the same time share my own culture while discovering a new one.

I would describe myself as patient, caring, creative, and reliable. I enjoy making time with children both fun and meaningful, whether through games, crafts, helping with homework, or outdoor activities. I am also organised and responsible, and I always do my best to create a positive, warm, and trustworthy environment. I also lead a healthy lifestyle, as I neither smoke nor drink.

Over the years, I have gained solid childcare experience. I spent two months as an au pair in Boston, taking care of two boys aged 5 and 9. I have also regularly looked after my younger American cousins since they were toddlers, and I have given English and French lessons to children from preschool to middle school age. My most recent experience was last year, from September to December, in Geneva, where I worked for a family of UN officials and took care of their 6-year-old son on a daily basis.

These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build genuine connections with children of different ages and backgrounds. I believe my personality, experience, and enthusiasm make me a caring, trustworthy, and positive presence in a family environment.
