Hello! my name is Laura, I am 18 years old and I live in Italy, in a quiet area between the countryside and the sea, not far from Rome.
I am a cheerful, simple and very sociable girl. I love spending time outdoors and being in contact with nature. Since I was 8 years old, I have been part of a scout group: this experience has taught me responsibility, teamwork and how to take care of younger children. With them, I enjoy playing, creating a happy and safe environment, and helping them learn new things.
I have a strong passion for sports, especially roller figure skating, which I have practiced for many years. I am also very proud to be a role model for my 10-year-old sister, who shares this passion with me.
I live in a family of five: my mother, who is a housewife, my father and my older brother, who work together, and my younger sister. We are a very close family and we all love animals: we have five cats and two dogs!
I consider myself a curious person who is open to new experiences. I love traveling and discovering new things, and for this reason, during the last two summers I worked as a waitress to become more independent and achieve my goals without putting pressure on my family.
I would really like to become an au pair to improve my English, become part of your family and experience your daily life. I am excited about helping with the children with energy and care, but also about learning about your culture and sharing mine: for example, I would love to cook some typical Italian dishes for you.
