Introduction
Hi! My name is Giada, I'm 19 and I just finished high school in Italy. I live with my parents (although my dad is often away for work), my 14-year-old sister, a dog and a cat. Our home is quiet and warm, and I often help with things like setting the table, doing laundry, and sometimes cooking (though I’m still learning!).
I’ve always been curious about different cultures, and I’m especially fascinated by Korea: its language, history, and everyday life, which feels so different from what I know. I love reading (especially fantasy, thrillers and comics), traveling, studying languages, and learning about how people live around the world.
I’ve traveled a bit with friends, most recently to Greece without adults, and I'm organizing a long Interrail trip through Europe this summer. I’m also part of the scouts, which taught me a lot about independence and teamwork.
Right now I’m taking time to figure out what I want to study next, and I see the Au Pair experience as a way to grow, learn, and challenge myself - especially with the Korean language, which I’ve started to study. I’d describe myself as patient, determined, and organized. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I open up easily.
