Dear Host Family,
My name is Sara, I'm 17 years old (I’ll turn 18 in June 2025 and will receive my passport then), and I'm from a small town near Venice, Italy. I’m so excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair for your family! I’m currently in high school, where I study social sciences and economics, and I’m looking forward to spending time abroad during summer hollidays. I hope to improve my language skills and gain a deeper understanding of your culture, which fascinates me.
I come from a big, close-knit family, so I know how important it is to create a warm and supportive environment for children. My experience with kids is extensive—I’ve been a summer camp counselor and part-time babysitter since I was 14. I currently help run activities for children aged 8-13, which has taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and creativity! I love organizing games and educational activities, especially those that encourage children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
In addition to Italian, I speak English and German, and I’m eager to learn even more languages. I love studying languages, so I'm particularly drawn to countries where I can both speak and learn something new. I’d be thrilled to share Italian culture and language with your family, as well as learn about yours.
Aside from working with children, I enjoy music, dancing, and spending time outdoors. I believe these hobbies are a great way to connect with kids and create fun, positive experiences together.
I’m looking for a family that is warm, open-minded, and supportive. I hope to build a relationship based on respect, kindness, and open communication. I’m more than happy to help with daily routines, homework, and any activities the children enjoy. My goal is to be a supportive and reliable addition to your family during my stay.
