I hope you’re having a lovely day when you read this letter. My name is Aulia, I’m 24 years old and I come from Jakarta, Indonesia a lively city filled with warmth, family spirit, and delicious food.
I grew up in a caring and supportive family that taught me the values of kindness, patience, and helping one another. As the middle child, I’ve always been the one who connects everyone, helping my parents at home, taking care of my younger relatives, and making sure things run smoothly around the house.
Even when I was a little girl, I already loved being around children. I remember when I was about nine years old, I often helped watch over the younger kids in my neighborhood some were just two, three, or four years old. I loved playing with them, helping them eat, and making them laugh. Looking back, I think that’s when I first realized how much joy I find in caring for others.
These experiences shaped me into the person I am today. caring, responsible, and genuinely happy when surrounded by children. Right now, I spend most of my days helping at home, teaching young kids in my community, and enjoying simple things like reading, cooking, and taking short walks in the evening. I also love trying new recipes,that things keep my day meaningful and full of small joys.
I want to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy being around children and learning new cultures. I believe living with a host family is the most beautiful way to experience daily life in another country.
