Dear My Future host family,
My name is Tazkiya, and I am from Tangerang, Indonesia. I have recently completed my undergraduate studies and officially earned my Bachelor’s degree on February 12th, 2026.
I am highly motivated to join the Au Pair program because I see it as a meaningful opportunity to broaden my international network, learn new cultures and languages, and gain valuable life experience while traveling and preparing for my future career and further studies.
I would describe myself as an open-minded, adaptable, and friendly person. I can easily connect with new people and create a warm and positive atmosphere wherever I am. During my university years, I lived far away from my family and crossed islands to pursue my education, which helped me become very independent and responsible. In addition, I worked as a customer service staff member for two months to gain professional experience and support my living expenses.
People close to me often describe me as humorous, caring, and attentive. I enjoy making others feel comfortable and happy through light-hearted jokes and positive energy. I believe that I can quickly build a close and trusting relationship with my host family, especially with your children ?.
I come from a loving and supportive family. I am very close to my parents, older brother, and sister, who have always been my greatest source of motivation and comfort. I grew up in a warm environment filled with love and care. My father is an entrepreneur and also a religious teacher, while my mother is a full-time homemaker who is exceptionally skilled in cooking Indonesian cuisine. I would be very happy to cook Indonesian dishes for my host family using my mother’s special recipes.
I am a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Universitas Jambi, where I studied for four years. During my academic journey, I actively participated in various committees and student activities, both on and off campus. I was also a member of the Student Association in 2023. In the same year, I joined the Ferienjob program in Germany for approximately three months, which greatly enhanced my international work experience, cultural understanding, and adaptability.
I have a strong interest in traveling and sports. Traveling allows me to learn about history, discover new cultures, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience local food that I have never tried before. The sports I enjoy include padel, swimming, badminton, and playing football. For me, sports are a long-term investment in health, helping me stay energetic, fit, and less prone to illness.
Regarding my experience with children, I truly enjoy spending time with them because I find them sincere, cheerful, and full of curiosity. Being around children makes me feel happy and allows me to be my true self. I often help my siblings take care of my nieces and nephews, including bathing, feeding, and accompanying them in daily activities. I enjoy playing educational games with them, such as guessing animals, colors, and plants, while keeping the activities fun and engaging. I also like taking them for walks and introducing them to nature, such as animals and plants around us. Additionally, I have experience teaching young children in my neighborhood, including guiding them in reading the Qur’an and providing educational content.
In terms of language skills, I have a good command of English at a B1 level. I am comfortable understanding and communicating in English, as I have used it frequently throughout my education and daily life with family members. I continuously improve my English through language tests, watching English movies, and listening to English music. I also have basic knowledge of German, gained during my three-month stay in Germany, and basic conversational Arabic, which I studied from elementary school through high school.
My biggest motivation for becoming an Au Pair is my strong desire to learn new cultures and languages, expand my international connections, and become part of a new family abroad. Since childhood, I have dreamed of exploring Europe, continuing my studies, and building a professional career there. I truly believe that joining the Au Pair program is an important step toward achieving these dreams.
I sincerely hope to find a warm and loving host family who will welcome me as a part of their family. I am confident that I can bring joy, care, and positive experiences to your family, especially to your children.
