I have always had a natural love for children. Growing up, I helped raise my younger cousins from when they were babies, bathing them, playing with them, and being part of their everyday life. Over the years, I also babysat children from both local and expat families in Indonesia, so I feel comfortable and at ease in international households.
Beyond babysitting, I have volunteered at a school for children with special needs (SLB), and I regularly participated in charity visits to orphanages with my student organisation, sometimes helping to organise the events myself. These experiences taught me patience, empathy, and how to connect with children of all backgrounds and abilities.
I also have experience as a private tutor, which means I'm happy to help with homework, reading, or learning activities in a structured but fun way.
What I love most is being present with children, cooking simple meals together, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, or just playing outside. I believe the small daily moments are what matter most.
I speak English fluently and I also have basic knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, and Korean, so I can communicate easily and am always eager to keep learning the local language of wherever I call home. I genuinely believe that learning someone's language is one of the most respectful ways to embrace their culture. I am also deeply curious about other cultures. I love learning new traditions, foods, and ways of life, which is one of the biggest reasons I am passionate about the Au Pair experience.
I am calm, organised, responsible, and most importantly I genuinely care. For me, this is not just a programme. It is a chance to become part of a family, contribute with love, and grow together. ??
