Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Safina, but everyone calls me Fina. I am 19 years old and come from Indonesia, a beautiful country made up of thousands of islands in Southeast Asia.

At this stage of my life, I am excited to learn more about myself, discover new places, and experience the world beyond my hometown. For a long time, I thought these dreams might be difficult to achieve. I do not come from a family with unlimited opportunities, but I believe that being young means having the courage to take chances and work toward your dreams. For me, becoming an Au Pair is one of those opportunities.

As the oldest daughter in my family, caring for children has always been a natural part of my daily life. I have a younger sister, and growing up, I often helped look after her. My parents regularly ask me to pick her up from school, help her with homework, prepare meals for her, and keep her company when they are busy.

Because of this, I feel very comfortable around children. I enjoy spending time with them, listening to their stories, helping them learn new things, and simply making sure they feel safe, happy, and supported.

I also love cooking! Preparing meals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would be delighted to introduce you and your children to some Indonesian dishes. Indonesian food is full of wonderful flavors and spices, and sharing a piece of my culture through food would make me very happy.

In addition, I am used to helping with household tasks. At home, I often assist my mother by washing dishes, preparing family meals, tidying rooms, and helping keep the house organized. I believe that being part of a family means helping one another and contributing whenever possible.

What excites me most about becoming an Au Pair is the cultural exchange. I would love to learn about your traditions, language, and daily life while sharing my own culture and experiences with your family. I believe living together is a wonderful way to create meaningful connections, learn from one another, and make unforgettable memories.
