Introduction
My name is Arvan Reva, and I am a 22-year-old applicant from
Bandung, Indonesia. I’m very interested in joining the Au Pair program and becoming
part of a Dutch host family.
I have a genuine interest in taking care of children and learning about new cultures. I fully
understand that the au pair program is a cultural exchange, not a family reunion. My
main motivation to join this program is my deep curiosity and appreciation for Dutch
culture, especially knowing that Indonesia shares a long and unique history with the
Netherlands.
As a small bonus, since my grandparents live in Dokkum, I might be able to visit them
once a week during my free time — but I want to emphasize that my priority and focus will
always be on my host family and my responsibilities as an au pair.
I graduated from high school in Bandung and have plenty of experience taking care of
younger children, especially my siblings. I also hold an international driver’s license,
which I believe can be very helpful for my host family.
I’m confident that my personality, responsibility, and motivation make me a good candidate
for this cultural exchange opportunity. Thank you very much for considering my
application, and I truly hope to be part of a loving and open-minded host family in the
Netherlands.
