My name is Nhyira, and I am a responsible, caring, and open-minded young person from Ghana. I am currently completing my university degree, and I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and be part of a loving family while learning about a new culture.
I have experience caring for children in different ways. Through my studies, I have gained a little bit of knowledge on pedagogy which deals with the art and science of helping children to learn, helped care for my nephew and niece, and supported younger children in my family with their daily routines and learning. These experiences have helped me become patient, attentive, and understanding of children’s needs. I enjoy helping children learn, play, and feel safe.
I would describe myself as calm, respectful, and dependable. I value good communication, honesty, and kindness. I am also happy to help with light household tasks related to childcare and to support the family’s daily routine.
Becoming an au pair is important to me because I want to experience family life in another country, improve my language skills, and grow personally while contributing positively to a host family. I am open to learning your family’s culture and traditions and sharing mine as well.
