Dear Host Family,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Manon, I am 24 years old and I come from the east of France, near Strasbourg. I grew up in a big family with two sisters and more than ten cousins, and family values such as kindness, open-mindedness and curiosity have always been very important to me.

I have a calm and positive personality. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts (especially watercolours), and above all spending time outdoors. I love nature, hiking, picnics, discovering new places and sharing simple moments with others.

I already have experience with children. During my studies, I babysat a 10-year-old boy: I picked him up from school, helped him with his homework, accompanied him to his basketball lessons, and we did creative activities or board games together before his mother came home. I also often take care of my sister’s children, especially the youngest who is 1years old now, as well as my little cousins. I really enjoy being around children, especially the youngest ones, and helping them feel safe and confident.

I recently graduated from a tourism school. Before that, I studied Russian language and literature at university, which taught me discipline and curiosity about the world. Throughout my studies, I also worked in a senior residence where I helped elderly people with daily tasks such as dressing and meals. Even if the work could be challenging, it was a very meaningful experience that helped me develop patience, responsibility and empathy.

I am reliable, gentle, adaptable and truly motivated to be part of family life. I do not only want to help with childcare I want to create a positive environment, support your children in their daily routines and share meaningful moments with them
