Dear Family,

My name is Stepan, I am a 23-year-old student from the Czech Republic. I am looking for an au pair position during the summer before continuing my studies at university.

I spent three years studying medicine at university, which gave me a strong background in science, responsibility and discipline. During my studies I also completed a first aid course and I have practical knowledge of first aid, which I consider very useful when working with children.

I am an active driver with five years experience, which makes me flexible in daily life.

I regularly help with climbing courses for children (5–17), where I coach and lead them as a safety supervisor. I enjoy spending time with children and I like when they are curious about the world — I often try to explain things in a simple way, especially questions about science and everyday life. I also have experience from summer camps, where I helped take care of small children.

I am an active and reliable person, non-smoker. I enjoy sports such as climbing, bouldering and freediving (I am holder of Apnea Academy lvl2 licence - which contains under water rescue skills). Also I enjoy badminton, rafting, hiking and fishing, skiing. I can play a guitar. I would describe myself as calm, responsible and easy to adapt to new environments person.

I would like to become an au pair because I want to improve my English, and also to experience a new country and meet new people.

I would be happy to support a family in daily life, take care of children, help around the house and become part of a warm family environment.
