My name is Ana María, I am 18 years old, and I live in Colombia. Currently, I am a second-year Multimedia Engineering student and a classical pianist. Because of my background in engineering and music, I am a very disciplined, structured, and well-organized person. I thrive in environments where there is clear communication, mutual respect, and a good routine, which I believe are key elements for a successful and happy Au Pair experience.

Why I want to be an Au Pair:
For me, this program is much more than just a job; it is a beautiful opportunity for a real cultural exchange and personal growth. I genuinely want to experience daily life in Europe, perfect my language skills, and become a meaningful part of a new family. I am currently preparing for my German A1 exam this July, so I am fully committed to being ready to communicate and travel by August or September 2026.

My Experience with Children:
Over the past couple of years, I have gained valuable experience caring for children of family friends and relatives. I have looked after toddlers and school-aged children, helping them with their daily routines, preparing light meals, and keeping them engaged. I don’t see childcare as just "supervision"—I love being active, creative, and resourceful. I enjoy playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, and I would be absolutely thrilled to introduce your children to music or help them discover the piano if they are interested!

Life in your home & Mutual Privacy:
I consider myself an independent, tidy, and reliable person. I am very respectful of a family's personal space and privacy, and I value having that same healthy balance for my own free time and studies. My goal is to be a supportive "big sister" for your children and a reliable helping hand for you in your daily routine, assisting with light household tasks related to the kids, like keeping their spaces tidy or helping with their laundry.
