Hello dear future family,
My name is Tania, I am 20 years old, and I live with my older sister. My mom and siblings live in Barcelona, Spain, and my dad passed away from cancer this year. When we were all together in Colombia, we always enjoyed doing family activities, such as going to the mall, amusement parks, exploring new places, and more.
Currently, I work at a pharmaceutical laboratory as a sales representative. My experience caring for children began in school when I studied community recreation, which involved planning, organizing, and carrying out recreational and cultural activities to promote integration, well-being, and social development. All our activities were for children aged 4 to 15 or 16.
I also took care of my nephew from birth—bathing him, changing his diaper, dressing him, feeding him, and more. I’m his favorite aunt! After graduating from school, I cared for my younger brother, who was 8 years old at the time. I bathed him, dressed him, gave him breakfast, took him to school, helped him with homework, and more. I also looked after Angel and Dominic, doing the same tasks I did with my brother.
In my free time, I enjoy biking, roller skating, and going to football stadiums. I want to live this experience because I believe it’s very important for children to have good companionship from birth through adolescence, as it shapes who they become as adults. I would love to guide and support them, while also learning a new culture and language.
