Dear family,
My name is Julietta, I am 26 years old and I am from Pasto, Colombia. Raised in this quiet city
surrounded by mountains, I learned the value of love and family unity from an early age. I lived with
my mother, and although my parents separated when I was young, our relationship has always been
very close and affectionate. Being an only child, the bond with my family has strengthened over the
years, providing me with a solid foundation of support and affection.

After graduating from school in 2015, I moved to Los Angeles, California, to improve my English
proficiency and immerse myself in enriching cultural exchange. This experience was crucial in
expanding my horizons and exploring new opportunities. Later, I moved to Bogotá, where I began my
professional education in visual arts. These years of study not only provided me with technical
knowledge but also the opportunity to explore my creativity and broaden my vision. I am passionate
about photography, painting, and cultural project management, and I firmly believe in the
transformative power of art in society.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring new activities and learning new things. I am an active and curious
person, and I love exercising, experimenting with healthy cooking recipes, and immersing myself in
new cultures and experiences. Additionally, I have experience in driving, a skill I acquired at the age
of 16. Since then, I have always had my own car, which provides me with convenience in my daily
activities, as well as the opportunity to travel and explore the surroundings of my city.

My connection with children goes back to my family. I have always been surrounded by babies and
children, which has given me invaluable experience in caring for and attending to the little ones. Also,
during my stay in Bogotá, I had the opportunity to help friends and family with the care of their
children, which allowed me to understand the importance of providing a safe and loving environment
for their growth and development. My approach with children focuses on fostering healthy habits,
exploring the world around them, and stimulating their creativity through hands-on and artistic
activities. I enjoy teaching them new things, as well as exploring nature and participating in outdoor
activities. I also love surprising them with stories and activities that awaken their imagination and
curiosity.

My motivation for embarking on this au pair experience is the opportunity to immerse myself in a
new life. I am passionate about cultural exchange, and I believe that living in a host family is the best
way to fully immerse myself in a new culture.
