Ihave a close relationship with my family. I lived with my parents and my younger brotherbefore I came to the US. My family is respectful, lovely and empathic. We try to enjoy the moments and always look at the positive side of life. Regarding my experience with children, I started when I was studying psychology, approximately in my 6th semester I chose to work as a monitor with children from 4 to 8 years old, for 6 months. Normally I helped them with their schoolwork and played psychomotor games or sometimes read children's books to them. Then I took care of a baby in October 2022, his name is Jacobo, he was 1 year old when I started taking care of him, and it was an incredible experience for me, then I took care of a girl, her name is Sara, she was 7 years old, and every afternoon after from school, I would pick her up from school and then we would go, in the afternoons with Jacobo we ate together and normally played at home, watching TV and I helped her with her homework. My experience as an au pair has been really exciting. I lived my first 1 year with a amazing family in IOWA, I was taking care of 2 incredible children who have been part of my family, the youngest is Duretti, she is only 2 years old and she is the most charming girl in the world, I love playing with her and spending time doing silly things, she is a loving, happy and curious, sometimes she throws tantrums but I have learned to calm her down. By the way, the oldest is 9 years old, his name is Ismail and he is the smartest child I have ever met. He can memorize everything and talk for hours, even with specific dates. He can be shy at times, but he can be sociable and fun if you get to know him. Spending my time with them is so much fun! More than anything, when we go to the park or do outdoor activities, it depends on the weather. I need to be creative so they don't get bored. I really appreciate them a lot and consider myself as their big sister.
