Dear host family

My name is Evelyn Rodriguez, I´m 25 years old and I live in Bogotá, I want to share a little about my life and my land, I was born in Bogotá, I grew up in this beautiful warm city with good and kind people, it has wonderful places to visit to be With family and friends, I live with my mother and my sisters, where they have instilled in me values and principles, I like my family because we make different fun plans, like going biking, going to the movies, seeing new places, going to the parks for a picnic day, we like to travel because we like to have fun, I have a good relationship and communication with them.

I'm a responsible person, with loyalty and discipline, an outgoing and charismatic person, I like to help people, I studied Environmental Engineering, I chose this career, because I like landscapes and nature, especially instilling in children and people the caring for the environment, so that we all have a better place. I've had the opportunity to teach a few things about planting, hiking, and whatnot.

My hobbies are: doing ecological walks, riding a bicycle, reading books, traveling and seeing new places, I like to play basketball, soccer, volleyball and skating, I consider myself a very active person to carry out sports activities, I like to go to fairs where I learned about the culture of each region of my country, I took a liking to reading from my grandfather, when he was alive I remember that he liked to read a lot and he was a very intelligent person.

Regarding my experience with children, I have worked as a babysitter many times, I started working in events that include recreational activities and childcare, then I started helping women who had no one to leave their children with while they went to work. I learned many things about it, where I helped them pick up the children from school, play with them, give them their food, do crafts and put them to bed. The experience of living with children is incredible, because it represents happiness, where I learned from them, they left me beautiful moments and I love sharing with children, because it keeps my inner child and they make me relive my childhood.

For this reason I decided to be an Au pair, since it is an opportunity to get to know new cultures and have new experiences, it would help me to finish fulfilling dreams such as having a perfection in the language and more being in the country that I chose since I like its culture , its places that are unique and the opportunities it offers to society.
