Introduction
I’m Liu Yuxiang. I’m 20 years old and currently living in Chengdu, Sichuan. I was originally studying physics in college, but over time, I realized that my true interests lie in English and history. That’s why I’m currently on a break from school, planning to change my major in the future.
Right now, I’m preparing to join an au pair program in the United States. Through this program, I’ll live with a host family, help take care of their children, and in return, experience American culture firsthand. I see this as a great opportunity to improve my English speaking skills, learn about life in a different country, and gain valuable life experience during my gap year.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books about history, watching documentaries and English-language movies, and sometimes playing video games or enjoying some fried chicken (my guilty pleasure). I believe that life should be about both passion and purpose. Even though I’m still exploring my path, I value every opportunity that helps me grow.
