I am a dedicated and empathetic individual with a passion for working in the childcare and education field. I am currently seeking a Aupair/Live-in Nanny position for September 2024. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg. In addition I have over 10 years of experience working as both a private nanny for multiple families, 8 years spent as a gymnastics coach, and spent the last 2 years employed as a children’s counsellor at a domestic violence shelter. Throughout the course of these roles I’ve had the chance to work with children ages 6 months old-16 years old and feel my combination of education & experience make me an excellent candidate to be an Aupair or Live-in Nanny. I’ve had the goal of working as an au pair and seeing the world by being truly immersed in the culture of a certain city for as long as I can remember. I also like the idea of a cultural exchange, becoming part of another family for some time & using the skills I currently have. I also feel we would be a great fit for each other after reading your profile. These reasons combined are why I am applying to work with your family! I am seeking a 12 month arrangement ideally currently but am flexible on that and willing to stay up to the 2 years my visa would allow.
