Introduction
Dear host family,
I'm Paula, I'm 24 years old, I'm Brazilian, and I'm fully vaccinated.
I'm currently living in Brazil, I just got back in the last week of November 2020 from the USA where I had an amazing experience being an au pair for the past a year and half.
I lived in the USA for 18 months exploring, learning their culture, language, and being part of an American family. I would like to keep having this amazing chance to explore different countries and their cultures, so now I'm looking for a host family in Europe where I could learn French.
Iive in Portland, OR as an au pair in May 2019 to take care of three little boys, a 14 months old baby, a 4 years old toddler and 8 years old boy. I lived with this family for a year.
Then, I moved to Connecticut, where I looked after a 3-month-old baby. I lived there for 6 months, and they are open to talk with you about my work and our time living together if you would like to talk with them eventually.
I came back to Brazil to have some time with my family due COVID while I'm searching for my next host family.
I would like to move to my new host family sometime between January and April.
I had the opportunity to live with two amazing families during my 18 months being an au pair; all my host families would always include me in family activities like hiking, trails, going to farms, having picnics or dinner together and sharing with me their traditions during holidays, they also were open-minded and excited about learning my culture and traditions.
I'm thankful for all the families who open their doors to welcome me into their families therefore, I truly believe the au pair program can be an incredible experience and that's why now I want to have the chance to keep living this experience in a new place.
