My name is Mariana, and I am from Brazil. I am currently studying Psychology and will graduate in January 2027. I am passionate about child development, education, cultures, and learning about people from different backgrounds.

I am a caring, responsible, patient, and organized person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, respected, encouraged, and understood.

I have valuable experience working with children of different ages. I worked for one year as a classroom assistant in a private school, supporting children in their daily activities and learning. I have also worked as a nanny four times, which helped me develop responsibility, adaptability, and confidence in childcare.

Currently, as part of my Psychology degree, I provide supervised psychological services through my university internship and hospital training program. This experience has strengthened my communication skills, empathy, emotional awareness, and ability to support people with care and professionalism.

I enjoy reading, learning new things, cooking simple and healthy meals, spending time outdoors, and having meaningful conversations. I am naturally curious and have always loved learning about history, geography, languages, and different cultures.

One of my biggest dreams is to become a diplomat in the future. Because of this, I value cultural exchange, language learning, and the opportunity to understand different ways of life. I believe living with a host family is one of the most enriching experiences someone can have, as it allows us to grow not only professionally but also personally.

For me, being an au pair is much more than childcare. It is an opportunity to become part of a family, build trust, share experiences, and create meaningful memories together. I would be honored to support your family while sharing a little of Brazilian culture and learning from yours.
