I am a caring, responsible and reliable person who truly enjoys working with children and supporting families in their daily lives. My main goal as an au pair is to offer parents peace of mind, knowing that their children are safe, well cared for and with someone they can trust while they are at work or busy with their routines.
I have experience caring for children of different ages, including babies, twins, school-age children and teenagers. I understand that each age requires different attention, patience and communication, and I always adapt my care to the child’s needs, personality and family values.
I am certified in first aid, which I believe is extremely important when caring for children. Safety is always my top priority, and I remain calm, attentive and responsible in all situations.
I speak Portuguese and Spanish fluently, I communicate well in English and I also have basic knowledge of French. I would love to share my language skills with the children in a natural and playful way, through daily conversations, games, reading and activities, if the family wishes.
In addition to childcare, I also have experience as a personal assistant. I am organized, proactive and used to helping with schedules, daily tasks and household routines. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping tasks related to the children, such as keeping their rooms tidy, organizing toys, helping in the kitchen, preparing simple meals and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
I consider myself patient, respectful and trustworthy. I value clear communication with parents and I always follow family rules and routines carefully. My intention is to be a supportive presence in your home, helping your family feel comfortable, confident and well supported.
