Dear future host family, my name is Tiaria, but everyone calls me "Tih" currently I work as a special education teacher in a private school providing assistance to students with special needs such as: autistic students, deaf students, students with ADHD among others . I am a very open, responsible, patient, friendly, relaxed, happy person and most of the time you will see me smiling and singing with your children haha I have no problems getting in touch with new people. My family and friends say that my greatest strengths are being friendly, fun, dedicated, flexible and polite, I love doing volunteer work at a children's institution where there are children in need of love, affection and care, I am Christian and I go to church on Sundays . In Brazil I worked as a nanny, taking care of a newborn baby and a 4 year old child and this job required a lot of patience and responsibility, I had the ability to care for and help them with everything they needed, from housework to meal preparation and hygiene. My favorite things were playing and creating dynamic activities between them. It was an incredible experience where I was able to see the children's routine and growth up close. I was very happy working there because at that time my life was full of energy and love! Taking care of these children, I learned a lot, how to be responsible for a child, how to love and respect them, and above all I learned how beautiful children are for their innocence, sincerity and unique personality. I also volunteer at a children's institution looking after children aged 7 to 15 who need love, care and affection. I believe I will learn even more on this journey. I know that in life we can learn everything, even if you don't know how to do something, there is always a way for us to learn, and I know that I have a lot to offer too. I really want to live this experience and I feel like this is the right time for that! I decided to become an au pair because I love children, I want to improve my English and live the American lifestyle. As an au pair, I want to feel like part of the family and enjoy the time I spend with you and the children. I hope you choose me to be your au pair because I really want to make a difference in your children's lives! I want to get close to them and take care of them like a big sister.
