Hello! My name is Rhianna and I’d love to connect with you to learn more about you and your family as an au pair ??

I have plenty of experience caring for children from 1 year olds, to teenagers, especially girls. I have my working with children’s check certification and have been working as a joyful dance teacher for the past 5 years (especially to 5-8year olds). I’ve also worked as a student teacher for over 120 teenagers and been in the disability support sector for 4 years whilst at university studying production design (theatre) and I have just graduated in December, 2025. ???
Families I have work with previously say I am extremely responsible and kind, reliable, hard working, empathetic and honest and a fantastic big sister/mentor figure to anyone. ?




I was born in Sydney but grew up in Melbourne. I love Australia! ????
My mum is French/English and my dad immigrated from Wales. I have a younger sister who is three years younger (19) and everyone thinks that we are twins! We’ve got a cat and two miniature sausage dogs who we love dearly! Our family loves to go on short adventures, including road trips and weekends away.

I have a friendship group of five girls, all with different backgrounds and personalities who are all just as ambitious, creative and love travelling like I do!


Personality

I’m a big sports person and love keeping active, especially dance. I also enjoy crafts, baking and cooking! Just the other week I went through a dumpling phase where I made over 100 dumplings at a time as meal prep. My family were very happy that week ?

My favourite foods at the moment are dumplings (clearly?), pasta and pizza, I have a croissant pretty much every day and of course love the Australian favourites, Milo and Vegemite!


My education:
I’ve just graduated from the Victorian College of the arts (VCA) with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts - Production design, specialising in set & costume design and stage management for live theatre. My placements involved working backstage for large theatre productions as well as filming TV which included the classic Australian TV series Neighbours!
During my time at university I also did a French beginners course where I learned the basics, but would love to become a lot more fluent this year!


What I do in my spare time:
In my spare time, I love exploring my creativity and staying active whether that be dancing, drawing, going for walks, baking or listening to music. I always love learning new things and developing new skills!
I’m also a big social butterfly and love meeting new people and making new friends. My friends in Melbourne and I love to catch up and experience new activities together, explore new places and have a fantastic feed!


My languages:
I am fluent in English as it is my first language and I studied French at university so I can understand, read and speak the basics e.g greetings and conversation, ordering food and drink, directions…

My goal is to become fluent in French eventually and what better way to achieve this than to immerse myself in the culture everyday! ???


My experience working with children:
I have my working with children’s check certification and have been working with children for the past 5 years as a passionate dance teacher for all ages (especially 5-8year olds) including children with special needs!

I also worked as a student teacher for 130+ students on a girls high school retreat in rural NSW, ages 13/14, where I lived and worked for 2 months. I became more of a mentor/big sister figure to the girls helping them to navigate through schooling, difficult situations, friendships and general teenage life! My duties included cooking and preparing meals for over 80 people at a time, excursions. running sport activities, cleaning, night duties and always being there for the girls. ??

I babysat for several families on weekends throughout my studies, caring for ages 2-11. My duties included keeping the children company and playing with them, cooking, cleaning and night duties.



My motivation:
I absolutely adore my job working with children and the younger generations whether it be a student teacher, dance teacher or baby sitter. As the oldest in my family I’m naturally very maternal, caring and supportive and I would love to join another family and be of aid to their children. It’s also always been a dream of mine to move to France, to learn the language and experience the culture. So, what better way than to combine these two things and become an au pair! One of my closest family friends was an au pair in France for 5 years when she was my age and still to this day she tells me about how incredible the experience was for her and I knew this was something I’d love to pursue for myself!
