Hi there! My name is Sarah.
I am trained as an oceanographer and have spent 3 years in Washington DC working with leadership on national ocean policy.
I have sat in meetings with the National Marine Fisheries Service Science Board and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy Team. I was even recommended by NOAA leadership to work with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on their Artificial Intelligence team.
I am highly organized and confident in pubic speaking, backed by trainings and presentations at national and international meetings including conferences in Malaysia, Germany, Denmark, and Colombia.
I am proficient in most computer programs and am also an artist. I am able to do graphic design projects, photography and photoshop, and create marketing materials.
Since the fall of 2020, I have stepped away from the office and spent my time and energy connecting more deeply with the earth and myself to pursue healing and and creative arts. As a highly sensitive empath, I am especially attuned to the energies around me, and have learned to navigate communication and collaboration from a heart-led, creative, and authentic space.
