Introduction
Hello Host Families! My name is Giovanna, I’m 24 years old and from Brazil. Currently going into my 2nd year as an Au pair in Pittsburgh.
I currently take care of a 6 month old baby, a 2-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy. I spend most of the morning and afternoon with all of them, being responsible for feeding lunch/ dinner (which usually one of the parents will have it done) play with them, take them for outside time, every other day I help with bedtime routine, we do lots of reading time, painting, crafts, long walks in the nature. I usually help with the kids laundry and tidying play spaces and rooms when I’m done with my work day. With the baby I mostly do everything, feedings, nap time, diaper change, bath time occasionally.
I have experience caring for babies to 8 years old children, both as an au pair and babysitter before the program. I’m a non-smoker, fully vaccinated, very organized and punctual. It’s very rare that I go out with all of the kids without my current host parents, so that’s the reason why my driver’s license is still in a slow process, I have my permit and I am totally willing to get more practice for the license before we potentially match for my second year, which starts in March.
