My name is Andiswa, or you can call me Lu. I am 18, turning 19, and I'm from South Africa. I come from a large, loving family as the eldest of six siblings, which has given me over a decade of hands-on childcare experience. From helping with homework and preparing meals to organizing fun activities, I’ve grown up with responsibility and a genuine love for supporting children.
At school, I’ve taken on leadership roles that reflect my dedication to children and education. I served as the club champion for learners with psychological, neurological, and physical differences, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence. This year, I was appointed prefect, where I continue to create safe and inclusive spaces for learners. I also have motivation letters from teachers and supervisors who can attest to my reliability, empathy, and ability to connect with children.
Beyond academics, I enjoy music (guitar, singing, songwriting), art (drawing, painting, photography), swimming, baking, and reading. I speak English, isiZulu, and Afrikaans, and I am currently learning Mandarin to prepare for my future studies in China. My long-term goal is to pursue child psychology in 2028, inspired by my own journey and my passion for helping children thrive.
