Introduction
I have actually been to the United States before, where I had the opportunity to experience American culture and interact with people from different backgrounds. That experience made me even more interested in spending more time in the U.S. and learning about everyday American life, not just as a visitor but as part of a family.
I have experience working with young children as a private tutor, particularly children in Kindergarten through Grade 2. I helped them with reading, pronunciation, and basic English, and I learned how important it is to be patient, encouraging, and flexible because every child learns differently. I also have experience working in an environment where I interacted with and guided students, which helped me become more responsible and comfortable working with different personalities and age groups.
I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, friendly, and adaptable. I enjoy creating a fun and comfortable environment for children, while also understanding the importance of routines, boundaries, and safety. I’m happy to help with age-appropriate activities, homework, playtime, meals, and keeping the children’s areas organized.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy makeup and beauty, creating content, communicating with people, and spending time with my family. I would also be happy to share Filipino culture, food, traditions, and stories with my host family while learning about your family and American traditions in return.
For me, being an au pair is not only about childcare. I hope to become a trusted part of my host family, build a genuine relationship with them, and have a meaningful cultural exchange. I’m looking for a family where we can communicate openly, respect each other’s routines and boundaries, and make the experience enjoyable for everyone.
I would love to learn more about your family, your children, your daily routine, and what you are looking for in an au pair. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my introduction, and I hope we can get to know each other! ??
Best,
Gwynneth
