My name is Janelle, I’m 25 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I’m a friendly, responsible, and caring person, and I’m currently looking for a host family where I can become part of the family while learning about a new culture and improving my German.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, which taught me a lot about being responsible, organized, patient, and attentive to other people’s needs. I also have work experience in hospitality, administration, accounting, and virtual assistance, so I’m used to being organized, dependable, and responsible with my tasks.
Although I don’t have formal au pair experience yet, I have hands-on experience taking care of my two nephews for almost two years. I helped look after them, prepare their meals, keep them safe, play with them, and assist with their daily routines. Taking care of children has taught me to be patient, attentive, and understanding, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.
I would be happy to help with the children’s daily routines, playing, preparing simple meals, keeping their things organized, and helping with light household tasks related to the children. I understand that being an au pair is not simply a job, but also an opportunity to become part of a family and share everyday life together.
In my free time, I enjoy learning new things, exploring new places, watching movies or videos, and spending time with family. I’m generally a quiet and respectful person, but I’m also open-minded and willing to try new experiences.
