Hi! I'm Meikha, 28, from Cebu, Philippines.

I'm a responsible, independent and easygoing person with around 7 years of professional experience in Human Resources. My work has taught me to be organized, patient, dependable and comfortable dealing with different kinds of people and situations.

I'm interested in becoming an au pair because I would love to experience another culture in a more personal way. I enjoy traveling, especially traveling independently, and I'm curious about how people live, work, eat and spend time together in different parts of the world. For me, being an au pair is not only about seeing a new country, but also about becoming part of a family and having a genuine cultural exchange.

Although my professional background is in HR rather than childcare, I am comfortable taking responsibility and helping with everyday routines. I'm happy to help with light household tasks, keeping things organized, preparing simple meals, tidying up, and helping where needed. I'm also patient and willing to learn your family's routines and the way you prefer things to be done.

I enjoy spending time with children and would be happy to play, read, do creative activities, go for walks, help with homework or simply keep them company. I believe children need someone who is patient, attentive and dependable, and I would always try to create a safe and positive environment for them.

One thing you should know about me is that I'm quite independent. I've traveled on my own before, so I'm comfortable being in a new place and figuring things out, but I also value having a good relationship with the people around me. I respect personal space, house rules and different ways of doing things.

I would also be happy to share Filipino culture with your family. I love Filipino food and would enjoy introducing you to some of our food, traditions and everyday life while learning about yours as well.

I'm not looking for a perfect or purely tourist experience. I'd really like to meet a family where we can communicate openly, respect each other and hopefully have a good experience together.
