If you are looking to be part of a family and not just a babysitter, then I think we are a great host family! We have two teenagers, so they are in school most of the time. This gives a lot of free time during the day for you to take classes and explore Columbus. We have a car just for you, and we can help navigate college courses as we are both professors at Ohio State. We live in Bexley, which is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Bexley is full of huge trees and beautiful historic houses. There is a cute Main Street only 6 blocks away, which has a farmers market, grocery store, movie theater, restaurants, ice cream shops, and more. The neighborhood is full of kids and lots of people riding bikes. It's very safe, yet we are only 10 minutes away from downtown and Ohio State University. We are not urban like a big city, but we're also not far away in the suburbs either. There is a lot to do in Columbus, which has over 2 million people and over 100,000 college students!

We are looking for a live-in nanny and someone to be an older sister ("abla") for our kids. We have hosted several au pairs in the past, and they have become part of our family. They traveled with us all over the world, and they still visit for holidays and birthdays. We hope you want to join the family, have new experiences, and learn about our culture. This is a position in Ohio in the USA, so you must be in the US or have a visa and be able to come to the US on your own.
