We are Claudia and Iris, a two-mom family living in beautiful Laguna Niguel in Southern California with our baby boy, Jesse, and our two small dogs.

We're looking for someone who would like to become part of our family while helping us care for Jesse and making our busy everyday lives a little easier. Jesse is the center of our world and will always be the priority, so finding someone loving, patient and genuinely excited to spend time with him is incredibly important to us.

During your working hours, you'll primarily care for and engage with Jesse—playing, reading, going for walks, helping with meals and naps, and supporting his development. We'd also love someone who is naturally proactive around the home and happy to help with everyday things such as laundry, dishes, tidying and organization when time allows.

If you enjoy cooking, that's a huge plus! We love healthy, home-cooked food and would be thrilled to have someone who enjoys preparing meals, helping with meal prep or occasionally getting dinner started for the family.

Our home is relaxed, warm and welcoming. We are an LGBT/two-mom family, and it is important to us to find someone who feels completely comfortable and happy being part of our household.

You'll have your own private bedroom and private bathroom, so you'll have a space that is truly yours. With a Monday–Friday daytime schedule of approximately five hours per day, you'll also have plenty of personal time to explore Southern California, meet friends, study or pursue your own interests.

We live in Laguna Niguel in Orange County, close to Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente and some of Southern California's most beautiful beaches and outdoor areas.

Live-In Au Pair / Family Assistant

Laguna Niguel, CA | Monday–Friday | Approx. 5 Hours/Day

We are a warm, welcoming LGBT/two-mom family in Laguna Niguel looking for a kind, dependable live-in au pair/family assistant to help care for our baby boy, Jesse, and assist with light household tasks.

Jesse is always the priority. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys babies and will actively engage with him through play, reading, walks and age-appropriate developmental activities while following his feeding and nap routines.

Responsibilities
Loving, attentive care for Jesse
Feeding, diapering, naps, playtime and walks
Preparing Jesse's meals/snacks
Jesse's laundry and keeping his nursery/play areas organized
Light household tidying
Loading/unloading the dishwasher
Family laundry and folding
Helping keep common areas organized

We are not looking for a deep-cleaning housekeeper. Childcare comes first, with household tasks completed when time allows.

Cooking would be a huge plus! We would love someone who enjoys being in the kitchen and can help prepare simple, healthy family meals a few times per week. This could include meal prep, chopping ingredients, preparing dinner ahead of time and occasionally helping with meal ideas. You do not need to be a professional cook—we would simply love someone who enjoys preparing good food.
