| Hello!
I am seeking a position as an Au Pair in order to learn about another culture while doing what I love, which is working with children. I have always worked with children since I was young. I started when I was about 14 years old babysitting for children of all ages. Then, I started working as a kid's camp counselor in which I was responsible for supervising large groups of children and organizing games to play. Also, I worked in a child care center for children ages six months to twelve years. I was responsible for cooking simple meals for the children and myself, daily routines for child care, and supervising and organizing play activities.
I graduated in December 2007 from Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary (Primary) Education (Newborns through Sixth Grade). During my teaching practicum I spent three months teaching young children in a primary school in Bognor Regis in the United Kingdom. I have since been teaching in local elementary schools back home in Pennsylvania, U.S.
I am a smart, active, motivated person who will be committed to making sure your children are safe and well cared for, as well as entertained. I have a wealth of experience in a career I truly enjoy. I hope that I will be able to share my experience, and make your decision in choosing the right Au Pair easy for your family. |
