Au Pair/Nanny job description

Provide care for three children, ages 9, 6 and 5. Participate in daily children's routine, preparing them for school and taking them to either the bus stop or directly to school as needed. Gather children from school, off bus or pick up directly at school. Cook children's meals and snacks as needed. Monitor and follow up on homework completion; teeth brushing, washing, etc. Maintain kids rooms in organized state, assist with children's laundry.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear future nanny/au pair, We are a family of 5 living about 1 hour from Boston in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. We have three children; a son age 9, and two daughters 6 and 5. The older two children go to school during the day and the youngest goes to school about 2 hours/day. We have had an au pair in the past when the children were much younger. Dad has been at home providing care but he is now going back to working outside the home. Mom works full time and sometimes travels for work. We are looking for an au pair who is serious about gaining more education. There are many community schools in the area and we are close enough to Boston to take advantage of the major universities. The position includes driving our youngest to and from school. A nanny with a car and a driver's license is a must. Our family is youthful and casual, the kids are good natured and fun. We are very down to earth and easy going.
