Au Pair job description

Feeding kids all meals, Dress kids, Change of nappies for youngest, Medicine administration when needed, Putting them down for afternoon naps Occasionally bath boys approx 4 nights per week, Activities with kids such as dough playing, cookie baking, going to the park, playing with model trains, singing songs, Washing of lunch time dishes, Cleaning of play room & keeping playroom clean, Cleaning own bathroom, toilet and room, doing own laundry ad Hoc help in the kitchen. All meals and accommodation provided, use of internet and skype included.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au pair, We are a family of 4 with two very active boys age 3 yrs and 20 months. We are a young family 30+ and are very outgoing and do a lot of site seeing as we are new to Melbourne. We both work full time and work most of the time "normal" working hours. We love the outdoors and do site seeing every weekend. We are already planning trips for next year so you will be in for great fun. We are original from South Africa and speak afrikaans and english. Our kids can both understand english as their current au pair is english. We are christians and attend church every saturday and life group every second week. If you love kids and are good with busy boys then our home is open to you. We want you to be part of our family. You will have your own section in the house and your own TV room. I would love some occasional help in the kitchen just as you would help your own parents from time to time. Our boys are very active. We believe in strict dicipline and you must be able to carry that across. We are not very strict on routine and we are happy if you want to do with them what works for you. If you like clubs and the night life then we are not the family for you. We would not want to worry about our au pair being out till 4 in the morning.
