Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are a Canadian/American family who currently live in Switzerland. We are moving back to north america in the new year for a 2-3 year assignment and then will be returning to Switzerland. We are looking for a native german speaker to speak german with our children so they don't lose the language and can learn it better. We speak english with them and will pay for a language course so don't worry, you'll still improve your english! We have a 2.5 year old son and a 2 mth old daughter as well as a bernese mountain dog. We love to travel, are open-minded and active people. Looking for someone who loves kids and dogs and is willing to help a bit with the housework.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Hello Au Pairs! We are moving in the new year to Boston and really want to have a native German speaking au pair come and live with us. I am a photographer so my work schedule is pretty flexible and I will also be caring for the children. We have a very big friendly dog, so the house needs to be vacuumed a couple times a week, but otherwise the housework will be very light. It's mostly important to us that you love kids and dogs and that you enjoy playing and interacting with the children. We will want you to speak German to the kids but we speak english with them so you will still learn english if that is your desire. We are currently in Stllen so it would be great if we could even meet before we leave and then have you join us once we are settled in our new house. We are lots of fun and love to travel too! Our families are in Toronto and New York, so no matter where we live, we will travel there for sure. Anyways, hope we can find a great match and welcome you to our family! Tricia
