Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for an energetic, caring person who possess a love of kids to share in the responsibility of helping care for our children. We are a busy family with 3 boys with a dad who works outside the home and a mom who works part time outside the home but has various volunteer commitments as well. The boys range in age from just about 5 to 11 and we need someone willing to play games both physical and otherwise with them, help them with homework on occassion and share the driving to and from various activities. We hope to find someone anxious to come to the DC area and take advantage of what it has to offer with our boys. We also need a partner in taking care of our home, with help on errands and some light household duties. We hope to find someone willing to make a commitment to stay with us for as long as possible as we have had in the past.

Dear our prospective au pair. We are a busy family with 3 boys with a dad who works outside the home and a mom who works part time outside the home but has various volunteer commitments as well. We view our nanny or au pair as a partner in whom we would like to be able to entrust our children and their happiness when we cannot be there physically. The boys range in age from just about 5 to 11 and we need someone willing to play games both physical and otherwise with them, help them with homework on occassion and share the driving to and from various activities. We hope to find someone anxious to come to the DC area and take advantage of what it has to offer with our boys. We also need a partner in taking care of our home, with help on errands and some light household duties. We hope to find someone willing to make a commitment to stay with us for as long as possible as we have had in the past. Our house is located near public transportation and your quarters are private and large in an area of the house completely separate from where we live. There are tons of kids in the neighborhood so you wont have to go far to entertain the boys. We hope you will consider our family.
