Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am an aspiring writer who moved to New York on February 10th. I lived on the Upper East Side at 94th and Park Ave. until September 20th. I just moved back to Charlotte, North Carolina on September 20th because I had to finally move out of the free place where I was living. But I can fly back to New York and begin working immediately. I am the oldest of five children (1 brother and 3 sisters), so I have had lots and lots of babysitting experience, especially with my 3 sisters. I am extremely close to all my siblings and my parents have now been married 30 years. I come from a very tightly-knit family who values the importance of loved ones and the effect they have on our lives. I am a Christian and would love to work for a family with a sincere spiritual and moral foundation. I go to Christ Church on 87th and Lexington and love being a part of the church family there. I have always enjoyed the company of children, and I am still a child at heart. I love having the opportunity to be a part of children's lives and adding a positive influence to their everyday experience. As an Au Pair, I would hope to be a friend and a mentor to a child or several children.
