Au Pair/Nanny job description

Our au-apir will have to walk our oldest daughter to school and do pick up. She will be responsible for lunch, snacks and activities for the youngest daughter during the day as well as planning activities and planning play dates. Light housework such as sweeping up, vacuuming and doing the girls'laundry will be expected. Occasionally driving to swim lessons or dance class. Flexibility will be key as I am currently involved in real-estate and may need help on the weekends and evenings depending on my husband's travel schedule.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au-pair- We currently have an au-pair from Britain who we love. Unfortunately, she has decided to go back to school and so we are looking for a replacement for her. We have two little girls who are both very creative and active. Our oldest daughter will start full-time school in the fall but we still need help with our three-year old. We live in a multi-generational house in the heart of Toronto with my mother-in-law on the main floor and we are on the second. My mother-in-law is Australian and my husband has Australian citizenship so an "Aussie" would be a great fit but most importantly we are looking for someone who will fit into our creative and somewhat hectic lifestyle with ease. My husband ownes an Industrial Design Firm downtown and I am currently pursueing a career in real-estate. We love to spend time at the cottage in the summer months and really need someone who is cofortable around the water and boats. We would love to hear from you if you are a creative, fun-loving, experienced, organized person who loves kids and wants to live in the world's most multi-cultural city.
