Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family, Growing up watching my mother take care of the three of us, her home, husband, church, and school (She taught 10 children k-12). She barely had anytime for herself or for her husband. I tried all I could to learn from my mother and help her find her time. I believe that everyone needs time for themselves, and sometimes life is too hectic to grasp a minute. Those who are being stretched too far, I would love to lend a helping hand. I have been certified by the SafeSitters course taken through a local hospital. First Aid, CPR on all ages, teaching, disciplining and comforting children of all ages is exactly what I was taught through such a course. I have been baby sitting, housekeeping and organizing since I was 13. I have taken care of autistic children, infants, 5 children at once and middle school children. I love cleaning and will clean under everything. I believe children have an adventurous mind and imagination. They should be able to go outside and play, use toys and paper to create, and be surrounded by positive people and influences. I frown on sitting children in front of a television, or electronic device to past time. Children should play, and I would love to help! I am going to school to become a forensic scientist.
