Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family I would love to au-pair in n.y and if I can I would like to study drama or aything in that line. im a lot of a city person..easy to get around in a city(because I don’t drive),at the moment im staying with my dad,only have a volutery job now working with street babies as i want to be avail to go to n.y as soon i get a family ,nowdays im having what they say 'me time' i enjoy reading babysitting ,theatre shows , watching ice hockey , music, singing, dancing, acting,,,,anything showz that’s my 2nd biggest passion,children are my inspiration(cant live without inspiration!!)…ive been working with kids since I was 12 years old (did volenteer jobs at the childrens home for 3 years) I knew since I was small what I want, even today I still have the same dreams.. In 2002 I started babysitting ashley (then 2 ) today he is 9years old,and I still look after him often,, children were always part of my life,at the end of 2005 (I started to babysit reuben and cian (then 4months and 18months, today they 4 and 5years old!),they stayed with me almost every weekend, mostly sleepovers!they become so part of me,we had such a good bond,saw babies first steps (that was a very proud moment for me and cian,)they moved to ireland aug 2008,did work for them till then!in 2006 I started to study educare (in that year I was a studend teacher at a school for special need kids) that was a very new but awesome experience for me….i learned so much!!i did carry on with educare for the 2nd year,I was a studend teacher at a school named kammaland for that year,end of 2007 I stopped educare (because I don’t want to be a teacher!!!)it was a nice experience though. I can handle 1 or 2 kids much better than a whole class!!thats why I want to aupair. With Reuben and cian I did everything expected of an aupair, making food,,light cleaning..going on outingsing…playing…sleeptimes games..i loved them so much!! In 2008 I home schooled a 5year old boy (with ADHD),till he got place in a special school,now its 2009 with very much ‘me time’ , trying to find the right match in n.y,id like to aupair a baby (so I can grow with the child!),I realy hope to find the perfect family!my home language is afrikaans(sorry for spelling!)hope to hear from you soon…..! my profile and photos is up at aupair care if you'd like to do the process with me,im not a member of great aupair yet,just a guest!!!hoping to find the perfect match :)
