Au Pair's Message to Families

My name is ILcemara and I am 30 years old. In the moment I'm live with friends in Athens, but I'm grow up in Manaus- Amazonas - Brazil. It is a Industrial city(because company as Nokia, Samsung, Philips, Panasonic, LG, Eletrolux are installed there) with a population of around 1.738.641 people. Usually the weather is hot and humid with temperatures averaging around 32º C. I graduated in Business Administration in July of 2002. I was working for eletronic Company in Manaus as Purchase/ Buyer in the last 5 years ago. My first foreign travel was on February,2008 to Vancouver - Canada, where I took a Intership program course as student with work permit valid until March 2009. I lived with an Canadian family. I had met people from all over the world at English school as Mexico, Sweden, Korea and Japan and learnt differents cultures. I'm grew up traveling learning take care of my own life out Brazil, more mature, confidence. Now,I do wanna to be au pair because I really love kids and study nurse to accompany kids. To be au pair is to discover a new world, a world that I call to be patience with the kids or next people around. From this program, I expect to gain more knowledge about people in general, like how to live with different cultures, personal growth, meeting people from all over the world, to increase my english and beging work as nurse to kids. On weekends, I like to go out with my friends. We usually have barbeques or go to the bars and pubs to talk about what we have done during the week. On Sundays, I am at home waiting met all the part of family (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins). I love to watch movies, go to the cinema, listen to music and read - now, I'm reading a book called in Portuguese:Pergunte a Platao. I do wanna to work around Canada in 2010. (In the moment, I have valid visitor visa to go to Canada - valid until January 12/2010)(';') I have always liked kids and I used to take care of my nephew since he was born until now with its 14 years old. As Au pair I can give to you hand like: At home: keep clean home, wash once a week clothes, sheet's, banker, towel's (on laudry or washing machine), to go to supermarkt - to buy food and stuff to home; to go to bank to pay bill from light, water, phone. We can talk about what do you expect from cook,z I'm not professional cooking, but I know make a good rice with vegetable and chicken. salad's. macarony with cheese. make a strawberry mousse. Schedule Nanny/ Baby sitter on the week: In the morning: wake up the kid's,put the kid's to take a shower, give breakfeast to kid's, get ready the kid's to go to school, give the kid's lunch time. In the afternoon: I can put the kid for a nap, help the kid's to do homework, play with the kid's, I cann keep the kid's company to go to extra activity like ballet, piano, basket, swimming, something else. In the night: Alway's good motive the kid's read a book before to go to sleep, alway's good hear kid's speak about your world, alway's good ask to kid's how were the school day. To be interested to kid's: Father and mom spend time with your child. watch movie, to go to theater, listen to music, paly with your favorite game, to go to payground, square. Health: to go with kid's to doctor and dentist. I propose as nanny/ babysitter take care your child day by day on week, help in the well brought up, introduce good manners, to be polite.
