30-something family, primarily Austrian, living in Austria. Family speaks English, French, German, and Spanish. Looking for a female or male Au Pair or Nanny. Our aupair will need to have a driver's license. Light housekeeping is required, and we will not accept an aupair that smokes.
We like to have an au-pair, age 20-27, to be a friendly welcoming face when we come home, prepare a simple meal, ironing/housework. Get the 4 year old ready for kindergarden every morning, bring him and get him from kindergarden (5 min. drive) Childcare is needed in the afternoon (4-7 p.m.) after kindergarden. Our au pair needs to be a self-starter, organised, tidy, a good time-manager, pro-active, friendly & flexible. We hope she'll like us & live as a family member. Friendliness & good communication are vital - we need to be happy & positive together.
The hours are 5-6 per day. Babysitting rare. One day off a week. Own pretty bedroom with tv, internet, cellphone.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies
Dear Au Pair! We live close to down town Vienna in a beautiful surrounding. You will be expected to take care of a nearly five year old boy who visits kindergarden during the day from Mo-Fry. You sholuld keep the house clean, the laundry up-to-date and put away, a simple weekday meal prepared, and to be a friendly face for us all to come home to. Usually the work fits easily into 5-6 hours per day with spare time, but it isn't a time-clock situation. We need someone who'll see what's needed and do it - our lives are fairly busy and stressful. In return, you'll have our eternal gratitude! We'll also be flexible around your college night, drive you about when we can, provide a car, when it is needed, and do our best to make your stay a happy and satisfying time.
Vienna is a great town, with lots of opportunities for your education, interests and contacts.
