Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family! I'm taking a year of from school, because i need a break from all the studying. I like new experiences and love children, so i couldn't come up with a better idea than being an Au Pair - and that could be for your family! I have no special demands for your family, other than you are a warm and loving family who will give me a good welcome. I come from a loving family, my mother is from Iceland and my father from Denmark, i have a little brother at the age of 15 and not to remember my sweet dog. I'm an open minded person who love challenges, adventure and trying new things. In my spare time I play basketball and work two jobs one is in a supermarket and the other is at a pizzeria. Until this summer I attended to what they will call high school in USA, but I took a year off to try something new. I'm a cheerful, positive person who love to be with family and friends. I'm an active person, who loves sport an other activities. I'm used to help with light housework at home, and love to cook. I live in a small town where we all know each other, and that can be a bit boring sometimes. I have a lot of cousins in both Denmark and Iceland who I love to spend time with, take care of and play with. Because of that I would like to try the job as a full time nanny/au pair, and being a part of a foreign family. As I mentioned before I like challenges and this sounds exciting. I've been thinking of taking the education to work in a day care, so this could be a good opportunity for my education as well.
